Ingredients

  • 400g firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium carrots, julienne
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 inches fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon chili paste
  • Juice of one lime
  • Fresh coriander for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Toss cubed tofu in cornstarch until evenly coated.

  6. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce is thickened.
